File Handling & Data Processing

Files You Upload

When you upload files (STL, SVG, PNG, etc.) to our customizer tools:

  • Purpose: Files are used solely for manufacturing your requested products and preparing quotes
  • Storage Duration: Files are retained for 90 days after project completion, then automatically deleted
  • Security: All files are stored securely and encrypted during transmission and at rest
  • Confidentiality: Your designs remain confidential and are never shared with third parties without your explicit consent
  • Deletion Requests: You may request immediate deletion of your files at any time by contacting hello@3d.parts

Personal Information

We collect and process the following information:

  • Contact Details: Name, email address, phone number (for quotes and order updates)
  • Shipping Information: Delivery address for physical orders
  • NIF (Tax ID): For Portuguese clients requiring invoices (optional, provided by you)
  • Payment Information: Processed securely through third-party payment providers; we do not store credit card details

Portuguese Invoicing

For clients based in Portugal who require official invoices, we offer the option to include your NIF (Número de Identificação Fiscal) on all invoices and receipts.

  • Providing your NIF is completely optional
